Bellville Village Council has voted to terminate Village Administrator, Larry Weirich.
According to RichlandSource.com, the 5-0 vote came on Sunday night during a special meeting. Council members said, the decision was made due to a conflict of interest.
Weirich was placed on paid administrative leave last month. The resolution for termination will go into effect on Friday, April 19th.
Bellville Village Council in late March, voted 6-0 to request the resignation of mayor, Terri Brenkus.
The request was for reasons of misconduct and appearance of impropriety. Brenkus said, she has no intentions of stepping down.
