Two finalists have been named for the Mansfield Senior Athletic Director job opening.
According to RichlandSource.com, the hiring committee, which consists of 6 members, has announced Michael Becker and Mark Oppenheimer have been chosen as the finalists. Both, will be brought back this week for a 2nd interview.
Becker, from Parma Heights, has been the athletic director for Brooklyn High School since 2021, while Oppenheimer, who is from New York, is currently the campus recreation director for Hofstra University.
The committee hopes to have a finalist for school board approval in May.
A total of 17 people applied for the position.
