SING OUT! A MANSFIELD SYMPHONY CHORUS CELEBRATION

MANSFIELD, OHIO. The Mansfield Symphony Chorus will once again partner with several area high school choruses to present “Sing Out! A Choral Celebration” concert on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre, as a part of the OhioHealth Symphony Series. The concert will take place on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 3:00pm.

Sing Out! is a Renaissance tradition in which area high school choirs perform alongside the Mansfield Symphony Chorus. The concert will highlight each choir individually and culminate in a combined choral performance guest conducted by MSO Music Director Ocatavio Mas-Arocas. This concert is a rare opportunity for high schoolers to sing while accompanied by a 55+ piece orchestra.

Lori Turner, the Chorus Master for the Mansfield Symphony Chorus, has been participating in Sing Out! and coordinating the event for several years. “We are very excited to see all of the schools coming together again at the Renaissance Theatre for this terrific event!”

In order to make the event as accessible as possible the cost is a $5 suggested donation. Support will go towards the continuation of the Mansfield Symphony Chorus, which has been a part of the Renaissance Performing Arts for over 40 years.
