Fourth Annual Family Fun on the Farm Festival Set for June 29
MANSFIELD, Ohio – Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (Richland SWCD) is joining Malabar Farm State Park to co-host Family Fun on the Farm Festival on June 29 from noon to 4:00 p.m. The festival returns for the fourth year, is open to the public and admission is free.
The festival centers around the theme of where food comes from and conservation. It will be filled with many hands-on, fun activities like fishing, and archery. Fishing is free for those who are 15 years old or younger. You can take a free, short wagon ride, visit farm animals, and hike the many trails. Make sure you stop in the Visitor Center to learn about farming and conservation at the newly renovated, interactive displays.
If you get hungry, food trucks and vendors will have tasty treats and beverages for sale to enjoy while at the festival.
