All events will take place at the Richland County Board of Mental Illness, 87 East 1st street in Mansfield, Ohio.

Monday, April 15, 2019 - From 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., NAMI Family Support Group: all family members of those with mental illness are welcome for a time of support, connection, and great speakers. Guest speaker will be Jennifer Butler, LPCC, from Akron's Children's Hospital to talk about children's mental health issues.

Thursday, May 2 and Monday, June 6, 2019, - From 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., A Peer Support Group: As someone living with a mental health condition, you may face unique challenges: social stereotypes and misunderstanding, complex family dynamics,and changing medial developments. It can be overwhelming! This support group provides a safe, accepting and confidential setting with people who can relate to your experiences. You are not alone! There is hope!

Monday, May 20, 2019 - From 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., NAMI Family Support Group: all family members of those with mental illness are welcome for a time of support, connection, and great speakers. Guest speaker will be Crystal Shaffer, Nurse Manager, from Ohio Health Behavioral Health Unit.

Wednesday, May 29, 2019 - From 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 1, 2019 - From 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.., NAMI Family and Friends: We have a brand new education program. This 90 minute seminar informs and supports people who have loved ones (friends and family) with a mental health condition. Participants learn about diagnosis, treatment, recovery, communication strategies, crisis preparation and NAMI resources. Monday, June 17, 2019 - From 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., NAMI Family Support Group: all family members of those with mental illness are welcome for a time of support, connection, and great speakers. This month will be a time of sharing, activities, snacks and fun!
