She Asked 'Where's Winston?' It Led Police to Her Killer

A dying woman in Ohio gave police information that helped them rescue her stepmother and 10-month-old son—and catch the ex-boyfriend who allegedly shot her. Police say that when they arrived at the Delta home of 23-year-old Mandi Mangas early Tuesday, she had suffered a gunshot wound to her chest that would prove fatal but was still able to ask about the whereabouts of baby son—"Where's Winston?"—and to give the name of his father, James Ramey, People reports. After an Amber Alert was issued and officers in three states launched a manhunt, Ramey was arrested around a three hours' drive away in Indiana, WTOL reports. Authorities say they rescued Winston and the kidnapped stepmother and charged Ramey with aggravated murder.
