Mansfield Police Force Now at 78 Officers

The Mansfield Police Department held a ceremony Tuesday morning to swear in two officers. RichlandSource.com reports, City Safety Services Director Lori Cope swore in Joshua Adamescu and Jacob Oblak, which now makes a total of 78 officers on force. Mansfield Police Chief Ken Coontz said they will still continue to hire until they reach full staff, which is 86 officers. They hope to add more in the next few weeks. Adamescu had spent time with the Lexington and New Washington Police Departments, while Oblak comes from the Grafton Police Department in the Cleveland area.
