Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Are Turning To Surrogacy To Have A Baby

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are ready for a baby and turning to surrogacy, as per a source close to Us Weekly.

On Wednesday (November 14), the celebrity gossip magazine revealed that the pair is "determined to have a child together" and steadily working on the surrogacy process. "They are in the final stages of choosing the woman who will carry their baby. It's extremely important to Gwen that she give Blake a biological child, and Blake is so excited," the insider explained, adding that Blake "wants his own child, too."

Stefani is currently mother to sons Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10 and Apollo, 4, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Meanwhile, Shelton did not have any children with ex-wife Miranda Lambert. "Gwen just is so in awe of the love Blake has, not only for her but for the boys," the insider added.

Earlier this week, the pair appeared at the 2018 E!'s People Choice Awards in Santa Monica alongside Carson Daly. During the ceremony, Shelton and his Voice colleague took the stage to accept the award for Choice Competition Show, but not before the former stood up and embraced Stefani with a big kiss and hug. "I want to thank Gwen Stefani and all of our coaches on The Voice," Daly told the crowd at the podium, which prompted cameras to pan to the former No Doubt frontwoman sitting close to the stage. "All-time favorite coach right there ... Gwen Stefani," the country titan said while pointing to his leading lady. "I love her. Thank you guys so much!"
