Tuesday, “Wear Gray Day”, in Clear Fork Schools

Tuesday is “Wear Gray Day” in the Clear Fork Schools following the loss of a student to cancer. 18 year old Grant Reed passed away on Sunday after a battle with brain cancer. Reed made news across the state when he named his cancer, “Michigan”, back in 2012. Reed was visited by Ohio State Football coach Urban Meyer and former Michigan coach Brady Hoke in the hospital. Ali Carter, a parent in the Clear Fork Schools, is organizing the “Wear Gray Day”, Gray is the color for brain cancer awareness and Carter hopes the whole community will wear gray for grant. RichlandSource.com reports Troy Reed, Grant’s father, said “He won his final victory over Michigan because it can never hurt him again.”
