Suspect Arrested in Homicide of 90 Year Old Mansfield Man

This morning (Tuesday) at approximately 8:15am the Mansfield Division of Police responded to 1831 Middle-Bellville Road (Apt. 3) in reference to a 911 call advising of a deceased victim at this location. Upon officers’ arrival, the victim, 90 year old Omar Brown was located inside the residence.

Further investigation determined that Mr. Brown was a victim of a homicide. Major Crimes detectives responded to the scene and during the course of the investigation, they were able to develop suspect information. This information led to the arrest of 31 year old Cody A. Lutz, in Medina County at 11:45am (photo attached)
