Kylie Jenner Files To Trademark 'Rise And Shine'

Kylie Jenner wants to cash in on the catch phrase "Rise and shine" for the rest of her life!

According to TMZ, the 22-year-old business mogul recently filed legal documents asking for ownership of "a slang version of the famous wake-up call, "RIIISE AND SHIIINNEE." In the docs, Kylie reportedly asked that the trademark cover "belts, pants, coats, dresses, footwear, gloves, headbands, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, sleepwear, socks, swimwear and undergarments, as well as cosmetics."

As fans know, "RIIISE AND SHIIINNEE" was born after the Kylie Cosmetics creator published her office tour on Youtube earlier this month. Towards the end of the video, Kylie was shown waking up her daughter Stormi by singing "RIIISE AND SHIIINNEE." The funny moment went viral almost instantly, spurring countless memes, celebrity covers, a dance remix, and it even broke a TikTok record by becoming the fastest hashtag in TikTok history to reach 1 billion views. And in Kardashian-Jenner fashion, Kylie's team has already capitalized on the R&S takeover, dropping "RIIISE AND SHIIINNEE" merch on the KylieShop last week.

Last week, Ariana Grande made a special request to Kylie asking if she could sample “Rise and Shine” on an upcoming track. Taking to Instagram, the "thank u, next" singer performed the “Rise and Shine” line in one of her Instagram Stories, captioning the post: “@kyliejenner can I sample?”

In response, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians jokingly accepted the deal, but under one condition: "Yes, yes you can @arianagrande. As long as I'm in music video.
