Jamie Lynn Spears Seemingly Confirms 'Zoey 101' Reboot With Cryptic Photo

The 50th Annual CMA Awards - Arrivals

Jamie Lynn Spears is getting Zoey 101 fans excited!

Earlier this week, Spears gave followers a glimpse at what is thought to be the latest sign of a potential reboot of the hit Nickelodeon television series. The rumor sparked on Thursday (November 14) when the singer took to Instagram with a mysterious image of what looked to be a script that was scrawled out, save for a certain familiar phrase “Gimmie that bacon!” and a character named “Sean.”

Putting two and two together, fans of the show immediately recognized the name as actor Sean Flynn, whose onscreen persona, Chase Matthews, who was considered popular for the funny slogan. Spears’ costars, Paul Butcher and Chris Massey, also fueled reboot speculations in the comments section of the post. “Somethings coming,” Butcher, who portrayed Dustin Brooks on the show, teased in a comment, as Massey, who played Michael Barret, added a few smirking faces and a buff arm emoji.

Zoey 101 went off air in May 2008 following a three-year run. The first we heard of the show’s comeback was in back in July when it was said Spears’ attachment to the reboot might involve “major changes,” like revisiting the students 10 years after Pacific Coast Academy.

During the same time, Massey took to Instagram with a group shot with his fellow alums — including Flynn, Butcher, Matthew Underwood, Victoria Justice, and others — when they reunited over the summer. Spears, who was noticeably absent — and asleep! — during the get-together, shared a heartfelt clip of the cast. “Hi Jamie! We miss you. We wish you could be here and we hope to see you soon,” the gang yells in the clip, to which Spears wrote on Instagram: “Not only did I miss the reunion, but I also missed the FaceTime, because I'm lame and fell asleep.... thank y'all for the video and hope to see y'all very soon.”
