The Richland County Land Bank voted on Wednesday to accept ownership of the Westinghouse Property on Fifth Street.RichlandSource.com reports this will likely lead to the demolition of the building, which has sat vacant for years when the company closed in Mansfield in the early 90’s.

Richland County Treasurer Bart Hamilton, who is also chair of the land bank, said right now is the time if you want to tear down big stuff because of the money available in the state budget.
