The Richland County Land Bank this week officially took control of the Ocie Hill Neighborhood Center.

RichlandSource.com reports, this deal will likely pave the way to see the building be demolished and the possible redevelopment of the property on Bowman Street.

The building is over 100 years ago.

Deanna West-Torrence, executive director of the North End Community Improvement Collaborative said she is happy, excited and hopeful for the possibilities to help serve the community.
