The human remains found in an attic on West Third Street in Mansfield, last week on April 8th, have been confirmed to be a missing 46 year old Mansfield man.
RichlandSource.com reports, Bob Ball, Chief investigator for the Richland County Coroner’s Office, said, dental records identify the body is Billy Bays III, who was reported missing by his family nearly two years ago, in July of 2022.
Ball said, the cause of death will likely not be determined, due to the condition of the remains.
