In Ashland County, the Mapleton Schools are looking for a new athletic director.
According to AshlandSource.com, Athletic Director, Shelly Stackhouse, recently resigned to take an opportunity out of state, in Alaska.
Stackhouse had been AD since October of 2023, and also was helping out as a bus driver in the district.
Mapleton Middle School Principal, Cory Runkle, is currently the interim athletic director, while the district searches for a new AD.
