In Shelby, the police department has been receiving complaints about noise and dust from all-purpose vehicles.
Chief Lance Combs, shared with WMAN, it's mostly dirt bikes and four wheelers in several areas of town.
RichlandSource.com reports, City Council is looking into an amendment of their codified ordinances, which if passed, would add a new section about the operation of all-purpose vehicles on private property.
Combs mentioned this would provide some guidelines in the hours of operation, number of vehicles at one time, and their proximity to homes, streets and sidewalks.
A second reading on the proposed amendment will take place on July 7th.
The city of North Royalton, in northeast Ohio, has used the same amendment.
