On July 10th, 2025, The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office along with METRICH concluded an illegal narcotics drug investigation. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Crestline Police Department and Galion City Fire Department, executing a narcotic search warrant at 1112 Beck Rd., Galion, Ohio at approximately 0900 hrs.
The target of the investigation was identified as Jon Michael Schreck, age 46 from Tiro, Ohio.
Officers seized a large amount of suspected Marijuana, with an estimated weight of 70 lbs along with Alprazolam pills, Amphetamine-Dextroamphetamine pills, Acetaminophen-Hydrocodone pills, Clonazepam pills and Alprazolam pills. The street value of drugs seized is in excess of $100,000.00.
Also seized was a complex indoor grow system consisting of grow lamps, power inverters, irrigation system, chemicals, and other items associated with illegal indoor grows.
This case is still currently being investigated by the Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office.
Criminal charges are pending against Mr. Schreck and reports will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of charges.
