Mansfield Man Pleads Guilty to 31 Felony Counts, will be Sentenced Oct 6th

A 29 year old Mansfield man, who was arrested last summer for allegedly seeking sex with a juvenile, has pled guilty to 31 felony counts.

RichlandSource.com reports,Bryce Witchey was indicted by a grand jury on 30 felony counts related to child pornography and he has pled guilty to a count of attempted importuning.

Attorneys for the defense and prosecution have agreed to a 12 year prison sentence.

Witchey, who was arrested in June of 2024, and was indicted last year in August, remains in the Richland County jail. The alleged crimes, according to the prosecutors, took place between April 2023 and June of 2024.

Richland County Common Pleas Court judge, Brent Robinson, will determine the sentence during a hearing, which is scheduled for October 6th.
