Preliminary investigation indicates that William Schoonard, age 48, Marion OH was southbound on SR 4 in a 2023 Chevy Trailblazer. Bradley Dennany, age 29, Bucyrus OH was southbound on SR 4, on a 2017 Yamaha YZF-R3 motorcycle, behind Schoonard.

Crawford County Coroner Chris Johnson responded and pronounced Dennany deceased at the scene. Schoonard was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
