On September 22nd, 2025 officers from the Mansfield Division of Police responded to a report of a serious injury crash at the intersection of Bowman Street and Poth Road.
Upon arrival, officers located a red Chevrolet Cobalt in the tree line just east of 770 Poth Road. The sole occupant of the vehicle, identified as Tyson Christopher Adkins 18 years of age, had been ejected from the vehicle. Despite immediate emergency efforts, Mr. Adkins was pronounced deceased at the scene by Mansfield Fire Department personnel.
Speed and weather conditions are considered contributing factors in this crash.
