Mansfield Police Investigating Bomb Threat at Possum Run Road Wal-Mart

The Mansfield Police Department is investigating a bomb threat at the Possum Run Road Wal-Mart store.

Assistant Police Chief, Mike Napier, said, officers responded on Sunday, April 26th around 4:30 pm, after an employee reported receiving a call from an unknown male claiming explosive devices had been placed in the store.

Management began an evacuation and contacted officials and law enforcement. Mansfield PD assisted in clearing the building and conducted a search of the premises. Nothing suspicious was found and the store reopened shortly after it was cleared. The incident remains under investigation.
