Demi Lovato allegedly freebased what was likely fentanyl-laced oxycodone with a drug dealer before her OD. That's according to a TMZ source, who reveals that the pop star summoned the dealer to her house at 4 a.m. The dealer brought the drugs over, but then "fled her home" after she went to bed and was "breathing very heavily." In fact, TMZ adds that "unbeknownst to Demi, the drug dealer had a bad habit of buying dirty drugs from Mexico." Post-hospitalization, Lovato has been getting treatment both in rehab and from an addiction specialist.
Demi L is reportedly in rehab undergoing "extensive" treatment for addiction over the next several months. An insider tells E! News that the program requires Lovato to focus on herself and she isn't to communicate with her friends--including ex-boyfriend Wilder Valderrama. The actor has allegedly been in touch with Lovato's family to check in on her, but isn't allowed to see her. "The family is trying to make sure they eliminate all distractions and want her to be focusing on her health right now," a source explains. Valderrama last visited Lovato at the hospital as she recovered from her July 24 drug overdose. Our prayers are with Demi!
