Bingo & Bongs: More Seniors Turn to Weed to Relieve Aches & Pains

There's bingo in the back room at Bud and Bloom in Santa Ana, California, with the winners of each game receiving free vape pens--all part of the marijuana dispensary's plan to attract more elderly customers. The AP reports that more and more seniors are turning to newly legalized marijuana products--mostly edibles and creams--to treat their aches and pains. "I don't like to take an opioid," says 70-year-old Adele Frascella, who chomps on marijuana infused gummy candies to keep her arthritis at bay. In fact, people who are 65 and older are the fastest-growing segment of cannabis users.
