You Can Stay in a Giant Potato Airbnb in Idaho for Only $200 a Night

What's better than French fries for dinner? Sleeping off that carb-loaded meal inside a giant potato. The "Big Idaho Potato Hotel"--which is actually a six-ton replica of a humongous spud made from steel, plaster and concrete--has been listed on Airbnb at the low price of only $200 a night (plus a $31 service fee and $16 in occupancy taxes and fees). The potato started out life on the road, touring the country for six years as a prop to help celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Idaho Potato Commission. Now it's parked on 400 acres of farmland outside Boise, where you can enjoy its "millennial-pink accents, elk antler chandelier, cute house plants, and views of South Idaho’s Owyhee Mountains," reports Fast Company. The Big Idaho Potato Hotel sleeps two in a queen bed and is also equipped with a small bathroom, a fireplace, a beverage cooler, and air conditioning--but no wi-fi or TV.
