Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli were two of 17 wealthy parents who formally pled not guilty in a federal courtroom in Boston on Monday to charges related to their alleged college admissions scam. CNN notes that the 54-year-old Loughlin and 55-year-old Giannulli had previously pled not guilty in federal court filings earlier this month to the charges, which include conspiracy to commit fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Each of the two charges is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. The couple is accused of paying $500,000 to get their two daughters falsely admitted to the University of Southern California as crew recruits.
