Viral Plant Guy Gives Kawhi A Houseplant at Toronto Raptors Victory Parade

The MVP of the Toronto Raptors' victory parade on Monday was "Plant Guy." The unidentified Raps fan--who went viral carrying a large "Kaw-actus" plant through the streets of Toronto after the Raptors won their first-ever NBA championship--managed to hand a small houseplant to NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard as the latter passed by on the team's victory bus. (Drake, who was on the bus and saw the interaction, went bananas.) Plant Guy later told a Global News reporter that his name is Kyle and that his backyard is full of plants "just so I can rip them out in celebration" whenever the Raps win. He added about Leonard, "I have 50 Kaw-actuses for Kawhi at home," and, "If I made that man laugh over my nonsense--my life's work." Plant Guy had said last week that his plant was meant as "a housewarming gift for Kawhi. When you see him, tell him I got a housewarming gift. Tell him I love 'em."
