While on my staycation, I decluttered my closet, my linen closet, my pantry, and all the shelves in our living room. They were just overcrowded and messy, and made me stressed out.
I felt like a huge weight was off my shoulders and that I could breathe better. Being organized is actually good for your mental health.
But maybe, you don't know what to get rid of. Here are some questions to ask yourself to make your decision easier:
Would I buy this item for full price today?
Would it impact my daily life not to have this item?
Is this item really worth the space it's taking up in my home?
Do I own a similar item that I like better?
Could this item be useful/helpful to another person?
These are pretty good, aren't they? Really makes you think about what you should hold on to and what you shouldn't. Hopefully this will help!
