That one time in Punta Cana when I became a Japanese Steakhouse Chef

This one time in Punta Cana, the Japanese Steakhouse Chef asked me to take over making some rice and I did just that... and, with some help from @JustinBieber... this is what happened next! (VIDEO)

Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. It's been a bit since I last blogged here...

But, in my defense, I was on vacation, had to deal with a torrent of "tech" stuff today and yesterday, well, I was just getting back into the swing of things after spending time with my Daughter, Kyla, and my SO, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I've got so much stuff to share, and I figured I'd start with this.

We stayed at this amazing place - Finest Resort - in Punta Cana. The resort is part of the Excellence Resort brand and they are just incredible. Now, why didn't we stay at Excellence this time, like we did a year ago in Jamaica? Well, because Kyla is 18. She wanted her own room, Excellence is a 21 and up resort and so, we got a place next door, at Finest, which is geared toward families. More on that later...

Next door to us, at Excellence, they have a Japanese Steakhouse. Japanese food isn't really in Kyla's wheel-house, so, on our second night, we trekked over to the Japanese Steakhouse after a busy day of excursions... and let me tell you, it was great. The drinks were flowing, the company was amazing and, well, this happened....

.... as you can see, the chef asked me to take over the fried rice prep. And so, I did. And the rest... is now video history for you to enjoy, if you've not seen it already.

Okay, now, I've got a serious photo dump ahead of me, I've got more video to share, more stuff to tell you about... and the theme of all if it, is best summed up in this Tim McGraw song... because for the first time in a long time... that exactly what I was doing... and how I was living.

If you want to know anything about the trip... hit me up. Find me/Message me on Insta/Facebook/WhatsAPP/Signal or whatever... and I'll be happy to tell you all about our trip... and some of the things which I thought were just outstanding...
